The Director of Colleges of Nursing in Delta State, Mrs Gloria Igumbor has clarified that the sales of entry forms Into various Nursing/ Midwifery institutions in the state are never through online nor any designated hospital in Warri, Asaba or anywhere else but at the various departments of the different institutions.
Mrs Igumbor made the clarification in warri while reacting to allegations of fraud being perpetrated by some unscrupulous elements in some parts of the State who specialize in deceiving innocent parents and potential students.
“the sales of forms is neither through online nor in some designated hospitals in Warri all entry forms for colleges of Nursing and schools of Midwifery across the State is taking place in designated departments in the various Schools and Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery” She stated.
Speaking further, the Director asserted that over a thousand persons who purportedly bought their entry forms through the fraudulent online, were not allowed to sit for the exams.
According to her, one Dr. Faith and and her co-conspirators who have been allegedly duping unsuspecting students and parents with their fake online sales, have been reported to the Nigeria police and other security agents, adding that in no distant time the law will catch up with them.
Mrs. Igumbor advised parents, potential students and the general public to desist from engaging in any transactions with the fraudsters, adding that they are not in anyway, agents of the schools of nursing in Delta State nor acting on its behalf.
