Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has officially inaugurated newly constructed and remodeled office facilities at the 3 Battalion Headquarters and Sector I Headquarters of the Nigerian Army in Effurun.

This initiative, aimed at strengthening operational capacity and civil-military collaboration, was celebrated on January 28, 2026.
The newly commissioned facilities encompass 13 constructed offices at the 3 Battalion Headquarters and 22 remodeled offices at the Sector I facilities, all situated within the Effurun Barracks.
High Chief (Engr.) Kestin Ebimorbowei Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Security Services, highlighted that the project embodies the principle that sustainable security thrives on cooperation across institutions. “Effective security is birthed from collaboration between public and private sectors,” he stated, emphasizing this philosophy as the foundation of Tantita’s security strategy.

Since its engagement by NNPC Limited in August 2022, Tantita has collaborated closely with government security agencies, particularly the Nigerian Army, to combat oil theft and pipeline vandalism. Pondi noted that the new facilities are not just physical spaces but represent an investment in operational effectiveness and personnel welfare.
The initiative reflects Tantita’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, aimed at creating a conducive environment that promotes professionalism and efficiency among security personnel.

Pondi also expressed gratitude to various stakeholders, including NNPC, security agencies, and host communities, for their support in executing the project.
Major General Emmanuel Emekah, General Officer Commanding, 6 Division, Nigerian Army, praised Tantita’s contributions to security operations in the Niger Delta, while Brigadier General Moronfolu Shonibare, Commander of 63 Brigade, acknowledged the enhancements made in securing national oil infrastructure.
Major Salman Mohammed, Commanding Officer of 3 Battalion, underscored the importance of improving living and working conditions within the barracks and thanked Tantita for their support, noting that these upgrades will significantly boost troop morale and operational efficiency.
