Chairman Warri south local Government, comrade Weyinmi Agbateyiniro has commended Rotary club of Ogunu for its humanitarian intervention programmes.
Comrade Agbateyiniro gave the commendation on Friday when he unveiled Rotary Club of Ogunu beautification project at Ogunu Bridge Bypass Warri Warri south local government area of Delta State.
Comrade Agbateyiniro described the gesture as heartwarming,noting that the project had enhanced the aesthetic beauty of the area.
The Warri South council Boss said he has known that over the years Rotary international had made significant contributions towards impacting positively on people’s lives in various ways across the world and enjoined Rotary Club of Ogunu to continue to partner with government to provide more people-oriented projects.
He called on other humanitarian organisations, individuals to partner with Warri south local Government to beautify Warri for it to look like what it used to be in the past .
The District 9141 Governor , Rotarian Chinedu Ikegwuani also commended Rotary Club of Ogunu for executing the beautification Project.
Rotarian Ikegwuani who was represented by Assistant Governor zone 9 Rotarian Sunny Emeyese said Rotary Clubs would continue to make life more meaningful to the people in their mandate areas.
Earlier the President of Rotary Club of Ogunu Rotarian Newton Ayiwe while thanking the Warri council chairman for the approval of the projects informed him and his entourage that the project was executed with financial contributions from members of the club as humanitarian agents.

He added that the club had in the past embarked on meaningful and developmental projects in Ogunu , Ugbuwangue and other communities in it’s mandate areas.
The project chairperson, Rotarian Onome Eboe-Ogoro after the commissioning took the Warri council chairman and his entourage round the project site and informed them more about the project.
The Ogunu Beautification project is one amongst other projects to be executed by Rotary Club of Ogunu this Rotary year.
