In a strategic move to ensure a seamless leadership transition, Rotary international District 9141 leaders officially assembled incoming officers for the Club Officers Learning Seminar (COLS) at Osubi, Warri and other venues in Delta State.
Rotary international District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Anthony Woghiren stated that the seminar was organized to Train and Empower incoming club officers with the tools and vision to lead in the year 2026/2027 Rotary year.

The District Governor spoke through two Assistant District Governors Designate , Rotarians Ayodele Enikanselu and Emmanuel Etsano at the two venues in Warri and Osubi .
The District 9141 Governor, Rotarian Woghiren stated that the seminar serves as a high-level training ground for incoming President,Vice President secretaries, treasurers, President-Elect Membership chair , foundation chair,Service Project chair ,Admin,Public image chair and Sergeant At Arm amongst others
The seminar opened with a powerful call to action, acknowledging the mix of excitement and responsibility felt by incoming leaders.
The proceedings were anchored by a special address from Rotary International President-Elect, Rtn Olayinka Babalola, whose virtual message set a global tone for local impact.
Through sessions led by expert facilitators, officers engaged in practical workshops designed to solve real-world community challenges and improve club administration.
The facilitators dwelled on lectures to prepare the incoming leaders to take charge of their clubs .
They also asked the leaders to take contributions to the foundation seriously and source for more members as well as allow for joint projects that have a wider reach.
The incoming officers who were elated and ready to take over leadership in the 2026/2027 Rotary year noted that they are now equipped for a successful and impactful New Rotary year .
They commended the facilitators for well delivered lectures .
A major focus of the training involves maintaining Rotary’s high ethnical standards and fiscal responsibility.
