The Delta State Coordinator of People’s Democratic Party PDP, Grand Alliance ,a political support/Pressure group Deacon Andrew Moyioritse Megbele JP, has felicitated with, Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori on his Appeal Court victory as duly elected governor of Delta state.

Deacon Megbele ,Former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Political Matters, said in a press statement made available to journalists in Warri that Governor Oborevwori earned the Appeal court victory as Deltans overwhelmingly voted for him at the March 18,2023 gubernatorial elections.

The PDP chieftain in Warri south local government area, who is also a leading contender for council chairmanship in the 2024 LGA elections, described the victory of Oborevwori as the collective desire of the people and supreme will.

He said it was tremendous joy to the electorates that the Appeal court upheld the verdict of Delta State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which earlier on September 29,at Asaba, confirmed the election of Oborevwori as the legitimate governor of the state.

According to Megbele ” The Appeal court victory of His Excellency Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori met the earnest expectations of Deltans who happily trooped out to elect governor. On behalf of myself, family and supporters ,I wholeheartedly congratulate him on his triumph well deserved”

Deacon Megbele expressed confidence in the administration of Oborevwori and noted that the governor had proved a phenomenal leader, within six months of emergence, noting his efforts towards the transformation of Warri with mega bridges as well as provision of social infrastructure across the state.

He urged Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress,APC, Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic Party as well Ken Pela, Labour Party who legally challenged the election of Oborevwori,to show spirit of sportsmanship and support the governor in his patriotic commitment to advance Delta ,through the M.O.R .E agenda development Programme.
