The Chairman of Kpakiama community and chairman of all chairmen in Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, Mr. Prince Ali, has officially refuted online media reports claiming the community has endorsed the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency,Hon. Nicholas Mutu
Describing the reports as “false and misleading,” Ali clarified that no such agreement took place.
Speaking at the Kpakiama Town Hall, Mr. Prince Ali urged those behind the viral report to desist from spreading misinformation.
He expressed shock at the publication, noting that the leadership of the community never met to endorse any political candidate.
Ali, explained that their recent visit to Hon. Nicholas Mutu’s residence was strictly to discuss issues affecting the community.
He emphasized that at no point during the visit did the leaders call for or agree to an endorsement.
In a firm stance, the Bomadi community leaders called for an immediate retraction of the publication.
The body reiterated their understanding of leadership structures, maintaining that they will not mix community-based welfare issues with partisan politics.
They concluded by reaffirming their commitment to ensuring Bomadi remains a peaceful Local Government Area.
