Ubulu-Uku- The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Jude Chukwunwike has charged the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 5, Ubulu-Uku, to serve as vehicles of unity and catalysts for transformative grassroots political engagement.
The Chairman gave the charge while hosting members of the Ward 5 APC Executive at his country home in Ubulu-Uku, in what served as a strategic interface for familiarization, strengthening party cohesion, and deepening organisational effectiveness at the ward level.
Addressing party officers, Chukwunwike emphasised that unity of purpose, structured collaboration, and sustained visibility in grassroots mobilisation remain critical imperatives for party consolidation and electoral success.

He noted that the evolving dynamics of party politics require disciplined leadership, strategic coordination, and an unwavering commitment to collective goals.
He congratulated the newly constituted executive and commended their demonstrated maturity, sense of responsibility, and unity of mind in the discharge of their duties.
However, he cautioned against actions and tendencies capable of undermining internal cohesion, stressing that political parties thrive on order, respect for institutional frameworks, and adherence to established hierarchies.
The Chairman further urged the executives to adopt an inclusive leadership approach by embracing all stakeholders within the party structure. He warned that divisive tendencies and disregard for the party organogram could erode hard-earned gains. He particularly tasked the Ward Chairman with articulating pragmatic strategies that would galvanise support, foster inclusivity, and position the party for sustained growth and electoral victory.
In her response, the Ward Chairman, Mrs. Chigbufu Uche, alongside other executive members, reaffirmed their commitment to collective action, unity, and loyalty to the party’s ideals.
They pledged to function as effective mobilisers and advocates of the APC, echoing a shared resolve to strengthen the party’s presence and performance within the ward.
The meeting underscores ongoing efforts by party leadership at various levels to reinforce internal democracy, promote unity, and align grassroots structures with broader political objectives.
