The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has called on party faithful and the electorate to embrace responsible political engagement, urging them to follow with dignity and criticise with conscience as preparations intensify for the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking during a leaders and stakeholders meeting held at the APC Secretariat in Ogwashi-Uku, Chukwunwike cautioned against acts capable of undermining party unity, including media attacks, blackmail, and divisive sentiments. He stressed the need for members to serve as constructive advisers to political leaders rather than agents of discord that could jeopardise the party’s electoral prospects.
The council chairman underscored the importance of unity, charging leaders across wards and the local government to close ranks and build a formidable front.
