The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Council,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has urged lawyers to champion the cause of justice and the protection of the people against wrongful and applications of the law.
Receiving members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ogwashi Uku branch, led by its chairman, Barr. Benjamin Okoh, Pastor Chukwunwike charged the body to harness the power of their profession to drive positive change and address societal challenges.
Earlier, Barr. Okoh commended the council’s developmental strides and expressed gratitude to God for the safety of the former Commissioner for Technical Education, Rt. Hon. Joan Onyemaechi – Ada Anioma .
Okoh sought the support of the council boss in the provision of office accommodation to enhance the daily activities of the association.
The Council Vice Chairman, Hon. Ms Ekwutozam Patricia Adolue , and the Local Government Council Scribe, Hon. Prince Tony K Ebube , were in Attendance during the Meeting.
