Chief Francis Omatseye foundation Empowers 1,200 Traders With Financial Grants

In a significant move to combat poverty and foster financial independence, the Chief Francis Omatseye Foundation has empowered
One thousand two hundred persons with Grants to support their businesses

Maiden Annual Empowerment Programme was held in Ugbuwangue community,Warri South local government area of Delta State.

The maiden Annual Empowerment Programme
marks a new chapter in Chief Omatseye’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian service.

Reflecting on his journey, Chief Omatseye shared that his passion for giving stems from his own humble beginnings.

He stated that One of his prayers to God was to empower him so that he can help humanity.

Chief Omatseye expressed gratitude that many previous beneficiaries of his informal efforts have already achieved financial freedom and established successful businesses.

 

 

Chief Francis Omasteye noted that the Foundation was formally conceptualized in 2025 to provide a more structured approach to his vision.

The visioner of the event added that the Foundation was birthed on November 30, 2025, during the 10th-year memorial service of his parents, Pa Oritsetsetserundede and Mrs. Oritsejolone Omatseye.

 

Chief Omatseye revealed that the maiden edition follows months of rigorous screening and data collection to ensure the most deserving individuals were selected.

Chief Omatseye noted that the annual empowerment event will henceforth be held on his birth Anniversary .

He thanked his collaborators, spiritual fathers, and financial institutions, while charging the beneficiaries to use the opportunity to transform their lives and eventually give back to society.

Chief Francis Omasteye also revealed that the 1,200 beneficiaries got between one Million,Five hundred naira and one hundred thousand naira as grant to boost their businesses .

 

Earlier the Chairperson Board of Trustees of Chief Francis Omasteye foundation, Hon Flora Alatan thanked Chief Francis Omasteye for always assisting the needy and urged others to emulate him .

She appealed to the beneficiaries onbehalf of the Board of Trustees Don’t pay good with evil by wasting or squandering the wonderful provision by God through Chief Francis Omasteye Foundation.

During a Financial literacy talk , Rita Ogbejele
advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the money by investing it , urging them not to temper with their capital.

The chairman of the event Mr Mode Akoma thanked Chief Francis Omasteye for the gesture,promising to support his foundation.

Eyewuoma, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi amongst others donated to support the chief Francis Omasteye foundation, thanking Chief Omatseye for serving humanity.

Some of the beneficiaries thanked Chief Francis Omatseye Foundation for supporting their businesses , pledging to use the money judiciously.

The cheques was Presented to beneficiaries irrespective of tribe .
