Executive Assistant on Communications to Delta State Governor, Olorogun Barr Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe Esq, has described the House of Assembly Member-elect for Ika North East State Constituency, Hon Mrs Marilyn Okowa-Daramola Esq, as a thorough breed, incredibly intelligent, humble and a workaholic political Amazon who is ever determined to serve her people, State and country.
EAC Oghenesivbe made the assertion in a congratulatory message to the House Member-Elect on Saturday and made available to newsmen in Asaba, saying that the good people of Ika North East will feel the positive impact of quality representation during her tenures as state legislator.
He recall that Mrs Daramola was his neighbour in Government House Asaba, when she served the state as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Girl Child Matters and Skills Training, notimg that she discharged her assigned responsibilities diligently and sometimes worked till late hours, to ensure that a reasonable number of girls between age 18 and 30 across the state acquired skills and well funded to start small scale businesses.
Oghenesivbe posited that Mrs Daramola is very humble and a team player who daily respected everybody, especially her elders and never behaved to remind anyone that she is the daughter of the incumbent governor of Delta State, adding that during the 2023 electioneering campaigns she went everywhere campaigning for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and candidates including the Governor-Elect, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Sir Monday Onyeme.
“I wish to congratulate my former neighbour and learned friend, Hon Mrs Marilyn Okowa-Daramola Esq, the Member-elect for Ika North East State Constituency.
“I know her to be a super breed in terms of integrity, humility, simplicity and she delivered quality serve to the state and people during her tenure as SSA to H.E. the Governor of Delta State.
“And as my neighbour Mrs Daramola was humble to a fault and never behaved to remind anybody of her aristocratic and solid family background.
“More importantly, she was and still a workaholic, which is why I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that she will make the good people of Ika North East State Constituency proud as she commences quality legislative business and result oriented representation from May 29, this year.
“I pray God Almighty to continue to grant my learned friend, Hon Mrs Marilyn Okowa-Daramola Esq; uncommon wisdom, good health and great foresight to excel as state legislator and in all her life endeavours,” Oghenesivbe prayed.
