The Executive Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Council, Lucky Avwreromre PhD has appreciated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the successful and peaceful installation of Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu (JP) as the Akpile of Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Ughelli South Local Government Council boss made the appreciation in a media chat with our correspondent shortly after the installation of Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu as the Akpile of Olomu Kingdom by HRM Albert Akpomudje ( SAN ) Eyavwien- Alaka 1, The Ohworode ( traditional ruler)of Olomu Kingdom at Akpere Olomu Community on Friday 11th September, 2026.
Avwreromre who described the event as unique, successful and peaceful, disclosed that Governor Oborevwori has advised that all issues relating to the Akpileship should be resolved and that court cases on it , should also be withdrawn.
He also was full of praises for Chief John Oguma a contestant to the exalted Akpileship stool for listening to the advice of Governor Oborevwori by withdrawing his case from the court on the Akpileship stool.
” The occasion is very unique successful and peaceful. In the nearest future Dr Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu will be installed as the Otota of Olomu Kingdom.
” I am indeed grateful to God that good things are happening in my time as Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Council .” he added
Avwreromre had congratulated Olorogun Ebenezer Okorodudu JP for his installation as the Akpile of Olomu Kingdom.
Meanwhile members of Urhobo foremost socio- political group Urhobo Peoples Integrity Organization (UPIO) presence at the historic event also congratulated Okorodudu who is the National President of the group in separate media chat . They included: Chief Sir Simon Asite JP ( National Financial Secretary) , Ambrose Ologide,Chief Akpojotor Adjarho, Deacon Matthew Ugolo, Roland Eferhio Hon Chief Peter Ogbavweni and Elehor Uwhobe
