Peace and unity have been restored in Ezebiri Community, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, following the intervention of the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye.
The community held a town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, to deliberate on issues that had caused lingering disputes among residents.
The meeting was convened in line with resolutions reached during the Council Chairman’s intervention a day earlier, aimed at addressing grievances and fostering reconciliation.
At the gathering, all aggrieved parties harmonised their positions and unanimously agreed to the resolutions brokered by the Council Chairman, bringing an end to the dispute.

The Council Chairman,Hon Andaye reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring peace across all communities in Bomadi LGA and urged residents to embrace dialogue as the path to resolving differences.
In a communiqué issued at the end of the meeting, the parties pledged to uphold peaceful coexistence and work together for the progress and unity of Ezebiri Community.
Community leaders commended Hon. Andaye for his swift intervention, describing it as timely and crucial to restoring harmony in the area.
