He said the group is committed to supporting Agege through prayers.
“We are concerned about good Governance. Our objective is to support and pray for leaders who have good intentions for the clergy as well as their followers”, the cleric stated.

In his address earlier, Ovie Omo-Agege thanked CPGG for the confidence reposed on him, adding that any political candidate supported by the Body of Christ can hardly fail.
“When political leaders encounter challenges the only people they can run to is the spiritual leaders. Running for senate, I cannot do it alone. I need your support. This obligation you are carrying as the Body of Christ was not assumed today. It has been there from time immemorial”, Agege said.
Also speaking was the NDC gubernatorial candidate, Deacon Chris Iyohaire.
Iyohaire enjoined the CPGG to trust him and support his governorship ambition.
He emphasized that being a very successful business man, he has what it takes to provide quality governance.
“Trust me with Delta State.Having being in the business space for over 30 years now, I know what is in the state. I can see opportunities from thousands of miles and I can assure you that by the time I arrive there factories will be pumping up for Deltans to work in”, Iyohaire opined.
