The Provost of College of Education , COE Warri Dr Dickson Onovwakpoma Oyovwi( JP )held a 15th year memorial service for his late wife, Mrs Josephine Oyovwi at St . Peters Anglican Church, Igbudu Warri.
Oyovwi was accompanied by his children, Ogheneyoma , Oghenevwegba his new wife, Mrs Gift Oyovwi, his father in-law Ambrose Ologide, other relations and friends to the memorial service.
He immediately held a reception at the compound of his late wife in Otokutu in Ughelli South Local Government Area.
The Provost of College of Education COE Warri spoke to our correspondent in a brief media chat at the reception as he appreciated those who accompanied him to memorial service and who graced the reception and contributed to huge success of the event.
Those he mentioned include : Sir & Dame Sunny Ziregbe, Mr Andrew Ukavwe, Hon Vincent Adolor Uduaghan, Dr ( High Chief) Samuel Jimoh Eshenake ( JP), Chief Mansion Udele , Engineer Isaac Dumbi , Mr Akinsola Taiwo, Hon Emmanuel Ayeh , Eddy Ovan , Blankson Esiti , Engineer Ohworode Oyovwi, Ambrose Ologide, and a former Secretary to Warri South Local Government Council, Eugune.
Others are : Dr Israel Imide ,Venerable Matthew Olobia , Mr Emmanuel Unuavwodo , Barrister Solomon Oluku , Barrister Ebenobe , Mr Joe Afure, Mrs Doris Aghoghovbia , Umukoro Oghenembe, Comrade Samuel Azugbene, Mrs Omonigho Otanocha among others.
