The executive chairman of Uvwie local government,Chief Anthony Ofoni has said that Environment is critical to his administration.
Chief Ofoni made the remark during the swearing in Ceremony of the Newly Appointed supervisor for Environment , Mr David Erumura Enawore .
The Uvwie Council Boss asked the new supervisor for Environment to carry his duties without fear or favour and ensure that the council area is clean.
Chief Ofoni stated that already the council has engaged women that are sweeping major streets in the area ,stressing that he is determined to make Uvwie local government the cleanest council area in the state .
Responding the newly sworn in supervisor for environment ,
Mr David Erumura Enawore promised to carry out his duties diligently .
He also pledged not to betray the trust reposed on him .
