A Yoruba popular actor and producer, Murphy Afolabi, is reportedly dead.

The death of the Murphy Afolabi
was announced by a well-known director and producer of the industry, Ola Yusuff

Yusuff made the announcement
Barely 24 hours after the death of a popular Nollywood actor, Saint Obi,

Although there are no details yet about the circumstances surrounding Afolabi’s death,but some unverified sources said that he died from injuries sustained from a fall in the bathroom, this morning.

Yusuff Wrote on his
Facebook page on Sunday afternoon,
“REST IN PEACE…”

“May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.

Born on May 5, 1974, Afolabi got into the movie industry in 2001. The graduate of Ire
Polytechnic, Osun State, appeared in over 60 movies before his death. His film credits
include ‘Ifa Olokun’, ‘Omowunmi’, Jimi
Bendel’, ‘Wasila Coded’, ‘Olokiki Oru’,
