A prominent member of Ologide Descendants Union, Chief Sunny Popo ( JP) has described HRM Dr Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso JP OON Abe I the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom as a blessing to Sideso ( his paternal family), Ologide ( his maternal family) Uvwie Kingdom, Urhobo Nation, Delta State and Nigeria.
Chief made the remarks in a media chat with our correspondent during the celebration of the 17th coronation anniversary of the highly esteemed traditional ruler at the posh palace of the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, GRA Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area last weekend.
Popo who is a cousin to the Uvwie monarch and palace chief , proudly and gladly remarked that the traditional ruler has been a pillar to the Sideso and Ologide families even before he was crowned the king of Uvwie Kingdom.
” Umogu ( Abe 1) has contributed immensely to the growth and development of Uvwie Kingdom as a king, to Urhobo Nation as chairman of Urhobo Traditional Rulers Council, Delta State as member of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, Nigeria as Chairman Board of Trustees, Nigeria Traditional Rulers Summit).
The respected Uvwie chief while congratulating the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, prayed that God should grant Abe 1 more years, good health, wisdom, peace and prosperity to continue to be blessing to humanity
