Bomadi-The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has issued a stern warning against the rising tide of social vices in the area, including hard drug abuse, internet fraud, and related criminal activities.
Hon Andaye gave the warning during a One-Day Prayer programme held at Kpakiama community hall in Kpakiama, Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State.
Accompanied by his wife, Hon. (Mrs) Rejoice Andaye, the Chairman called on parents and guardians to take greater responsibility in guiding their children, urging them to be vigilant and proactive in discouraging behaviors that could damage the image and integrity of the council.
Hon. Andaye declared that his administration would not tolerate any form of social deviance and vowed to begin a decisive clampdown, starting from his own hometown, Kpakiama.
He further stressed that individuals found culpable would be handed over to relevant security agencies for prosecution and disciplinary action.
He called on all community members to heed the warning and support efforts aimed at building a safer, more disciplined society.
