The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government council ,Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has hailed women across the globe as the “pillars of society” in a moving tribute to mark the 2026 Mother’s Day celebration.
In a goodwill message released Sunday by his Media Aide, Oyem Jonathan, the Council Chairman described mothers as the silent strength behind every success story and the primary architects of a peaceful society.
“Mothers are the first teachers and the moral compass of our communities,” Chukwunwike stated.
“We celebrate not just the visible achievements, but the sleepless nights and selfless acts that sustain humanity.”
The Chairman expressed his gratitude for the resilience of mothers in Aniocha South, acknowledging their role as caregivers who nurture hope even in difficult seasons.
He prayed for their continued strength and recognition, noting that their “labour of love” remains the foundation of the local government’s progress.
