following the extension period of voting for the Presidential and National Assembly elections to Sunday, February 26, 2023 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) distribution of materials has commenced in some wards and polling units where election did not hold on Saturday in warri South local Government area.
Our correspondent gathered that election Materials was moved to ward 4 units 1 to 10 And ward 9 for the election .
Other wards and polling units where elections would be held included Wards 5, 7, 8,1 ,3, 11, 12.
Meanwhile the Electoral officer , E.O Mr Kingsley Ogboe told Newsmen that the elections would hold in most polling units in Warri .
He urged the electorates to be calm and cast their votes peacefully when the voting materials arrived the polling units
It was also gathered that INEC is not providing logistics for the election,the various Political Parties representatives were seen gathering funds to hire buses to convey INEC materials to their units .
As at 1pm voting has not commenced in any of the wards and units where election did not hold on Saturday .
