Concerned Nigeria youths for good governance have called on the independent National Electoral Commission ,INEC to improve on the conduct of elections to avoid irregularities .

The Youths made the statement during a peaceful rally to some major roads in warri , Delta State .

They lamented that INEC failed to keep to their promise to transmit results after the February 25,2023 elections.

“We want our mandate back , INEC failed to practice what they told Nigerians ,INEC chairman Yakubu Mahmood said the commission would transmit Election Results” they said.

“We are Nigerians and we don’t want to Travel Abroad because of bad Governance ,we want good governance because we are not Nigerians by mistake ” they said.

They stressed that most Nigeria youths became interested in the elections because of the promise by INEC to transmit the election results .

They said most youths are jobless even after graduating from the University because of bad governance .

The youths said they are not comfortable with the just concluded elections because of the irregularities that marred the elections .

We are aware that some political parties are in court to challenge the outcome of the results and we support the idea instead of resulting to crisis, They said .

The concerned youths for Good governance urged the judiciary which is the last hope of the common man to do the needful according to the law.

It would be recalled that the electoral umpire blamed technical hitches with its result viewing portal (IReV) during the general elections.
