The Executive Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, Hon Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro has assured that the ongoing construction of Ifiekporo Bridge in Warri South Local Government Area will be the 8th wonders of the world.
He gave the assurance when he paid a working visit to the project site during the last Delta State Government monthly environmental sanitation exercise .
The Warri South Local Government Council boss who spoke to the people of the community concerning the project at the residence of the Deputy Olaraja of the community, Pa Michael Dominion, also assured that the completion of the on going bridge will give birth to another brigde as he said that the proposed bridge will be the 9th wonders of the world.
He explained that his assurance was based on those who do not believe that the said projects can be executed by a local government council.
While further assuring that the 8th wonders of the world will be commissioned by Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, he boasted that ” we will prove those that are doubting us, wrong with the execution of the projects ”
He assured that on completion of the 9th wonders of the world, the local council will creat an island on the other side of the 9th wonders of the world that will be better than the famous and popular Banana Island in Lagos State.
Agbateyiniro however called for the total cooperation among the people of Ifiekporo Community in the execution of the landmark projects, as he warned that they should not exhibit actions that could frustrated the efforts of the Warri South Local Government Council in the execution of the projects in order to avoid a repeat of the abandoned the multi billion naira EPZ project in Ecravos in Warri South West Local Government Area.
He had earlier proudly and gladly disclosed that the laudable achievements that are recorded so far across all local government councils in the state was due to the marching order of Governor Oborevwori on local government council chairmen on the implementation of his MORE Agenda.
” What we are ( local government council chairmen ) are doing, is like a competition among us ” he noted.
Agbateyiniro therefore urged the people of Warri South Local Government Area to sustain their support for Governor Oborevwori and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) so that they will continue to enjoy the dividends of the MORE Agenda of Governor Oborevwori ‘ s administration.
The Deputy Olaraja of Ifiekporo Community ,Pa Michael Dominion had in his welcome speech, expressed appreciation to Hon Agbateyiniro for the his good agenda for the community as he remarked that Hon Agbateyiniro ‘ s achievements so far were laudable just as he prayed for the political advancement of Agbateyiniro.
Pa Michael Dominion also assured that the community will provide a conducive atmosphere for the execution of the projects.
The Chairman of the community, Dr Monday Akpeyi also spoke in the same vein in his welcome speech.
The Honourable Commissioner For Environment Delta State Ejiro Jamani, the Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council, Hon Kingsley Edafiadjebre, the Supervisory Councillor For Environment Warri South Local Government Council, Hon Okorodiden Femi, the Deputy Leader Warri South Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Hon Emmanuel Egbe, Okpaghoro Omatseye Comrade , Joy Efekoha among others were in the entourage of Warri South Local Government Council Hon Isaac Weyinmi Agbateyiniro.
