…Says Delta is not a one-city state, not to be compared with any other state in Nigeria
The Asagba of Asaba, Obi Epiphany Azinge, SAN, praised the Governor of Delta, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for his commendable performance since taking office.
In an interview with Arise News, the monarch highlighted the governor’s visionary leadership, prudent management of state resources, and the balanced rollout of infrastructure and socioeconomic projects across Delta State’s three senatorial districts.
Obi Azinge noted that the Kwale Industrial Hub will spur massive commercial activity, accelerate development, and generate employment for both skilled and unskilled Deltans, especially residents of Delta North. He urged the state government to continue channeling resources diligently to ensure all 25 local government areas benefit.
Emphasizing that “Delta is not a one‑city state,” the revered traditional ruler pointed out the presence of numerous urban centers across the three senatorial zones and called on the governor to avoid developmental neglect, ensuring the dividends of democracy reach every corner of the state.
