A leading aspirant in Orhuwhorun Community president general contest, Chief Jonathan Oyovwi has promised to better the lots of residents if elected into office as their president general.
Oyovwi who is a retired Nigerian Customs officer, made the promise in a media interaction with our correspondent at Otor- Udu, headquarters of Udu Local Government Area on Wednesday 3rd June, 2026.
He noted the ancient Udu community of Orhuwhorun has the potentials to become greater as he promised to exploit those potentials to take the community to greater heights if elected into power.
Oyovwi used the opportunity to appreciate the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Chief Hon Vincent Oyibode for his peace initiatives on the president general election of the community.
He also lauded the Udu Local Government Council boss for his laudable achievements so far across the locality since he was elected as the local government council chairman.
A prominent indigene of Orhuwhorun Community, Chief Akpojotor Adjarho ( aka Ishimi) who also spoke to our correspondent in the media chat, canvassed support for Chief Jonathan Oyovwi as he remarked the retired Nigerian Customs officer is tested and trusted.
