The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has intensified grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging party stakeholders and members in Ward 5, Ubulu Uku, to consolidate their political strength and work collectively toward victory for the party from the Presidency to the House of Assembly.
Chukwunwike made the call on Wednesday when he attended the Ward 5 APC Strategic and Stakeholders Interactive Meeting in his hometown, Ubulu-Uku.

The meeting, which brought together party leaders, stakeholders, political appointees and grassroots supporters, provided a platform for political engagement, internal cohesion and strategic mobilisation ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
Warmly received by his constituents and party faithful, the Chairman stressed the importance of unity, discipline and collective action as essential ingredients for building a formidable political organisation capable of translating grassroots support into electoral victory.
Declaring the meeting open, Chukwunwike urged party members to remain committed to the APC and resist what he described as attempts by opposition parties to mislead the electorate.
He argued that the APC remains better positioned to provide purposeful leadership and called on the people to support the party’s candidates across all elective positions, from the Presidency, Governorship as well as national and state Houses of Assembly.
According to him, sustained support for the APC would create the political stability and continuity required to consolidate ongoing reforms and deepen development at the grassroots.
The Council Chairman also highlighted several projects and interventions attracted to Ubulu-Uku and other communities across Aniocha South, attributing the administration’s expanding development footprint partly to improved revenue generation and the fiscal benefits arising from the ongoing economic reforms of the Federal and State Governments.
He expressed optimism that the improved fiscal environment would provide opportunities for additional development initiatives that would directly benefit the people of Aniocha South in the months ahead.
Pastor Chukwunwike maintained that political representation must ultimately be measured by its capacity to deliver tangible development, improve the welfare of citizens and create an environment conducive to economic opportunity and social progress.
He, therefore, encouraged the stakeholders to strengthen their ward structures, sustain communication with constituents and ensure effective grassroots mobilisation as the 2027 elections approach.
Those in attendance included the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Patricia Adolue; Secretary of the Council, Hon. Prince Tony Ebube; State Ex-Officio member of the APC, Sir Prince Fred Mordi; Executive Secretary, Local Education Authority, Dr. Jones Ofunne; and Councillors representing Ward 5, Hon. Patrick Elo Maduemezie and Hon. Uche Martins Okocha.
Also present were Special Assistants to the Governor from the ward, political appointees of the Council, APC leaders, stakeholders and other party faithful.
At the end of the interactive session, participants reached a unanimous resolution to strengthen party unity, deepen grassroots engagement and mobilise support for APC candidates across the ballots in the 2027 general elections.
The meeting climaxed on a strong note of political solidarity, with Ward 5 stakeholders pledging their collective support for the APC and expressing their determination to contribute to the party’s electoral success from the Presidency to the State House of Assembly.
