Chukwunwike decried what he described as the growing erosion of moral values, disrespect for constituted authorities and the use of social media for unnecessary blackmail, urging young people to deploy social media responsibly and constructively.
He said gratitude should be regarded as a virtue and a means of sustaining healthy relationships, particularly when individuals or institutions extend gestures of support and goodwill.
The chairman encouraged the youths to cultivate values that would enable them to become responsible citizens and worthy ambassadors of their communities, stressing that government support would be more impactful when matched with discipline, mutual respect and responsible conduct.
Earlier, the Mayor of UFA and leader of the delegation, Comrade John Onwordi, explained that the delegation was at the lodge to pay a courtesy visit to the council chairman and appreciate his administration for making development visible and impactful in Ubulu Uku and across Aniocha South.

Responding to the chairman’s remarks, the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Youth Mobilisation, Comrade Eric Ezeawani, expressed appreciation to Chukwunwike for receiving the delegation and for the valuable lessons shared during the meeting.
