The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom , High Chief Hope Akasa (JP)has hailed Chief Mrs Fidelia Chukwudumebi Ighrakpata on her appointment as the Provost of College of Education Warri.
Akasa who is the highest traditional chief in Uvwie Kingdom , lauded Chief( Mrs) Ighrakpata on her appointment in a media chat with our correspondent in Effurun Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State last weekend.
Akasa who described Chief Fidelia Ighrakpata as hardworking working, resourceful, God fearing and a humble personality, noted that the incoming provost of College of Education Warri has contributed immensely to the growth of the college as a lecturer and as a Deputy Provost of the institution.
He was therefore optimistic that Chief Mrs Ighrakpata will take the college to greater heights.
Akasa also commended the biological father of Chief Mrs Ighrakpata, Professor Alfred Unomah ( of blessed memory) for his achievements as Provost of College of Education while he was alive as High Chief Akasa reasoned that this must have accounted for the reason for immortalization of Professor Unomah with the naming of the best hall in the college after him ( Professor Unomah)
The Unuevworo of Uvwie Kingdom therefore noted that the appointment of Chief (Mrs) Ighrakpata as Provost of College of Education Warri is a right square in the right hole.
He then wished Chief Mrs Ighrakpata a successful tenure in office.
The highly esteemed Uvwie high chief in the media interaction, also praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his choice of Chief Mrs Ighrakpata as Provost of College of Education as he noted that the choice of Governor Oborevwori is a welcome development to the college community, stakeholders and indeed Deltans “hence there is avalanche of congratulatory messages for Chief Mrs Ighrakpata on her appointment.” he added.
