The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has described the late Chief Ojukwu Godwin Oloye as a respected figure whose life was dedicated to service, unity, and humanity.
Hon. Andaye made the remarks in Oboro community, Burutu Local Government Area, where he joined Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor; Prime Minister of the ancient Tuomo Kingdom, Mike Ekayoma Loyibo; Commissioner for Housing, Godknows Angele; and other dignitaries to bid farewell to the deceased.
The burial drew political leaders, associates, family members, and sympathizers who gathered to honor Chief Oloye, a relative of Hon. Peres Oloye, member representing Burutu 2 Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.

Expressing condolences to the Oloye family and the Oboro community, the Bomadi council boss urged them to take solace in the impactful 60 years the late chief lived, even as he acknowledged the pain of his passing.
The ceremony featured cultural displays and an outpouring of tributes, with family and close associates describing Chief Oloye as humble, peaceful, and community-oriented. Speakers said his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.
The event also highlighted unity among political leaders in the area, with Hon. Alapala Ebitonmo, member representing Burutu 1 Constituency in the Delta House of Assembly, joining others to honor a life marked by peace and humility.
