The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government council ,Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has felicitated with former Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, on his 67th birthday anniversary.
In a message on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, Andaye, speaking on behalf of his family, the local government council, leaders, and people of Bomadi, described Okowa as a stabilizer and political maestro whose public service record remains unmatched.
“Your impressive public service record from Secretary to Ika Local Government to pioneer Chairman of Ika North-East, to Commissioner in multiple ministries, to Secretary to the State Government, Senator of the Federal Republic representing Delta North, climaxing in your assuming office as first Anioma nation-born Executive Governor for two terms, speaks volumes of your unmatched experience in statecraft,” Andaye said.
He commended Okowa’s unwavering support for his successor, Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, noting that it gladdens the hearts of Bomadi people in particular, and Deltans in general.
Andaye added that the former governor’s calm mien and strategic statesmanship have endeared him to all, as a leader committed to bridging divides and ensuring equality and inclusiveness in the development of the state.
“We pray the Almighty God to continue guiding and guarding you with robust health and sound mind, to continue to inspire us with your uncommon leadership,” he prayed.
