The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has congratulated his Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Amas, and his bride, Miss Toronto Ezonboere Tina, on the successful solemnisation of their traditional marriage.
The colourful ceremony took place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Ultra-Modern Multipurpose Event Centre, Bomadi.
Hon. Andaye, accompanied by his wife, Hon. Mrs. Rejoice Andaye, attended the event alongside a large gathering of political leaders, government functionaries, traditional rulers, family members, friends and well-wishers from within and outside Bomadi LGA.

Describing the occasion as heartwarming, the Council Chairman said he was fulfilled to have witnessed both the couple’s dowry payment and now the traditional marriage, noting that it marked the completion of an important cultural and marital journey.
Congratulating the newlyweds, Hon. Andaye described marriage as a sacred institution ordained by God and sustained through love, patience, mutual respect, understanding, sacrifice and unwavering commitment.
He urged Hon. Amas and his bride to remain faithful to those virtues as they begin their lifelong journey together.
The Chairman further prayed that Almighty God would bless their union with enduring love, divine favour, fruitfulness, wisdom, peace, sound health and abundant prosperity.
“I also wish the couple a home filled with joy, unity, happiness, and God’s abiding grace, while expressing confidence that their marriage would flourish and remain a source of inspiration to others,” he said.
