The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has felicitated with the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Amas and his bride-to-be, Miss Toronto Ezonboere Tina, on the successful completion of their traditional dowry payment ceremony.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Obrigbene Community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Hon. Andaye, who was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Bomadi LGA, Hon. (Mrs.) Poweide Guembe Bekes, members of his administration, and aides, joined family members, friends, and well-wishers to witness the customary rite.
The visit also provided the Chairman an opportunity to reconnect with members of his maternal family in his ancestral community, making the occasion both personally significant and culturally remarkable.
Describing the successful dowry payment as a testament to the enduring values of culture, family, and commitment, Hon. Andaye congratulated the couple.
He prayed that their union would be enriched with abiding love, divine grace, peace, prosperity, and lifelong happiness as they prepare for marital life.
The Executive Chairman also expressed anticipation of joining the families, friends, and well-wishers at the grand traditional marriage ceremony scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Deaconess Tobore Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Event Centre, Bomadi.
