The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has declared that the true federalism long advocated by many Nigerians is gradually taking shape under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through deliberate constitutional and policy reforms aimed at decentralising governance and devolving greater responsibilities to the federating states.
Chukwunwike made the remark while receiving the Delta State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors during its grassroots mobilisation tour to Aniocha South in Ogwashi Uku.

Addressing party leaders, stakeholders, youths and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the council chairman urged party faithful to sustain their support for the administration and work collectively towards securing victory for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He maintained that Nigeria’s developmental challenges predate the current administration, stressing that the Tinubu government has laid a coherent economic blueprint and reform agenda capable of repositioning the nation for sustainable growth, institutional stability and long term prosperity.
Earlier, the Delta State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Chief Funkekeme Solomon, appealed to the people of Aniocha South to remain patient and steadfast in their support for the Federal Government, describing the ongoing reforms as necessary measures to reset the nation’s economy and place Nigeria on the path of sustainable development.
Fukekeme explained that the statewide tour was designed to deepen the Renewed Hope message at the grassroots and strengthen public engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He urged party chieftains, executives, youths and critical stakeholders to consolidate support for the continuity of President Tinubu’s administration and other APC candidates, noting that while the reforms may presently impose short term economic pressures, they are fundamentally structured to deliver enduring national transformation and broad based prosperity.
Corroborating the position of the state coordinator, the APC Chairman in Aniocha South, Pastor Norbert Akachukwu Sochukwudinma, commended the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for their mobilisation efforts, stating that the Tinubu administration’s infrastructural development, people-oriented policies and investments in human capital have continued to produce measurable impacts across the country.
He described President Tinubu as a courageous leader whose bold economic and governance reforms would ultimately revitalise the nation and translate the aspirations of Nigerians into tangible realities.

Speaking on behalf of the Aniocha South APC Media Team, Hon. Dr.Patrick Chukwueloke Onyekanankea assured members that the team was fully prepared to deliver on its mandate. He noted that beyond strategic communication, the media team had successfully fostered unity within the party by reconciling previously divided interests, thereby strengthening internal cohesion ahead of future elections.
The Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Smart Ijeoma Ufoh, called for intensified grassroots mobilisation through expanded engagement with diverse community groups, political structures and associations.
He emphasised the need to communicate the achievements of the Federal, State and Local Government administrations more effectively at the grassroots and pledged to deploy his political network in support of the party’s electoral objectives.
Also speaking, the APC State Ex Officio member, Prince Fred Mordi, expressed appreciation to participants and organisers of the meeting, observing that the Renewed Hope Ambassadors had significantly strengthened the party’s mobilisation architecture.
He urged members to sustain the momentum through increased commitment and wider grassroots participation.
In his closing remarks, former Minister of State for Agriculture and APC leader, High Chief Chris Agbobu, advocated the decentralisation of mobilisation efforts to the ward and unit levels, arguing that electoral victories are fundamentally secured through effective grassroots engagement.
He urged party leaders to channel greater resources towards ward based sensitisation campaigns, noting that frequent central meetings with limited grassroots penetration should give way to structured ward and polling unit engagements capable of producing measurable electoral outcomes.
Delivering the vote of thanks, the member representing Aniocha South Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly and APC candidate for re- election, Hon. Chief Isaac Anwuzia, PhD, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for extending the mobilisation tour to Aniocha South.
Anwuzia stated that President Tinubu’s administration has continued to demonstrate commitment to addressing Nigeria’s longstanding socio- economic challenges through bold and strategic policy interventions.
He further proposed the establishment of Renewed Hope Ambassador units in every polling unit, recommending a minimum membership strength of 25 persons per unit to deepen voter engagement, expand grassroots mobilisation and consolidate support for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
