The Chairman of Delta State of Board of Internal Revenue , Chief Hon Solomon Okporua Ighrakpata, the Deputy Provost of College of Education ( COE) Warri, Chief ( Mrs ) Fedelia Ighrakpata, committee of friends in College of Education (COE) and a host of other distinguished personalities have felicitated with the Provost of College of Education (COE) Dr ( Olorogun) Dickson Onovwakpoma Oyovwi on his birthday anniversary at his Osubi residence Okpe Local Government Area on Thursday 14th November, 2024.
The colorful event put together by the would be bride of the celebrant , Ms Gift Okeoghene Ologide attracted eminent personalities from far and near.
Chief & Hon (Mrs ) Solomon Ighrakpata in a media chat with the newsmen,described the Provost of College of Education Warri as a philanthropist, God-fearing and humble personality.
The Secretary of the prestigious Warri Club , Andrew Ukavbe who is a bosom friend of Dr ( Olorogun) Oyovwi, described the celebrant as a friend in a million. ” I am glad having Dr Oyovwi, the Omovoghor of Olomu Kingdom as a friend. He is a friend indeed ” he added.
While the father of Ms Gift, Mr Ambrose Ologide a veteran journalist described the celebrant as a personality who everybody will like to identify with.
Mrs Elohor Tina Ologide and Mr Divine Ologide (the mother and the younger brother of Ms Gift Okeoghene Ologide respectively) also spoke volumes of the goodness of Dr (Olorogun) Oyovwi to humanity.
An elated Dr (Olorogun) Oyovwi who also spoke to journalist appreciated God for his birthday anniversary.
He specifically thanked his would be bride, Ms Gift Okeoghene Ologide for the surprise birthday party as he extended his appreciation to his bosom friend, Andrew Ukavbe for the success of the surprise birthday party.
Oyovwi was also full of appreciation for those for who graced the occasion and others for their good will messages .
High point of the event was the cutting of the birthday anniversary cake by Dr ( Olorogun) Dickson Oyovwi assisted by his would be bride, Ms Gift Okeoghene Ologide and other guests..
