The Executive Chairman, Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on Wednesday, 26th August, 2026, alongside his wife, Hon. Mrs. Rejoice Andaye, joined the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, family members, friends and distinguished guests at the traditional marriage ceremony of the Governor’s son, Innocent Oborevwori, and Tobore Arigbodi, daughter of High Chief (Dr.) Broderick Arigbodi, at Isiokolo, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.
The colourful ceremony, held at the Arigbodi family’s country home, attracted prominent political leaders, traditional rulers, business executives, government officials and other distinguished personalities from across Delta State and beyond, who gathered to celebrate the union of the two families.

Among the dignitaries present were the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme; former Governors, Chief James Ibori and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa; Senator Ede Dafinone; the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR; Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor; Hon. Francis Waive; and Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Chiedu Ebie.

The entire Delta State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) was also present at the ceremony, led by its Chairman, Hon. Chief Isaiah Esiovwa, Chairman of Okpe Local Government Council, alongside other Local Government Council Chairmen.
Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, who also serves as the Secretary of ALGON, Delta State Chapter, joined his colleagues and other dignitaries to celebrate the Governor and his family on the joyous occasion, reflecting the strong bond and unity among the leadership of the State’s Local Government Councils.
The ceremony provided a beautiful display of the rich Urhobo cultural heritage, as the two families formally celebrated the union of Innocent and Tobore amid traditional rites, music, dancing and an atmosphere filled with joy, love and excitement.
The celebration also attracted prominent businessmen and notable personalities, including Chief Victor Egukawhore, Chief Eta Enahoro, Chief Tunde Smooth, Chief Johnbull Ejovi, Chief Tony Oboroh and Chief John Oguma, as well as members of the Delta State House of Assembly, Commissioners, politicians and other government functionaries.
Adding further excitement to the occasion was a lively musical performance by Port Harcourt-based ace musician, Duncan Mighty, who entertained guests with his popular songs and contributed to the memorable atmosphere of the celebration.
Hon. Andaye heartily congratulated Innocent and Tobore on their marriage, describing their union as a beautiful celebration of love, family and culture. He wished the newly married couple a peaceful, fruitful and fulfilling journey as they begin this important chapter of their lives together.
He further prayed that Almighty God would bless their marriage with enduring love, mutual understanding, peace, happiness and prosperity, while wishing them a lifetime of marital bliss. Hon. Andaye also congratulated the Oborevwori and Arigbodi families and prayed for continued joy and blessings upon both families.
