The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to advancing the welfare of women through empowerment, inclusion and support for entrepreneurship as part of efforts to fulfill his electoral promises.
The chairman gave the assurance while receiving members of the Aniocha South APC Women Leaders Forum, led by the Local Government Women Leader, Mrs. Eunice Otuya (née Nwoko), during a courtesy visit to the Chairman’s Lodge in Ogwashi Uku.
Addressing the delegation, Pastor Chukwunwike commended the women for their unwavering commitment to the growth of the party and urged them to sustain their support for the government at all levels. He also called on them to remain united and mobilize grassroots support for the continued success and electoral victories of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The council chairman assured the forum that the concerns presented during the meeting would receive prompt attention. He pledged the council’s support towards hosting the APC Delta North Senatorial District Women meeting in Aniocha South, enhancing women’s participation in governance and providing branded women’s wrappers (asobi) for members of the forum.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Mrs. Eunice Otuya, expressed appreciation to the chairman for his accessibility and open door leadership style, describing him as a responsive and people-oriented leader whose developmental strides have positively impacted communities across the local government.
She explained that the visit was to solicit the chairman’s support on issues affecting women, particularly their welfare, assistance in hosting the forthcoming APC Delta North Senatorial District Women Summit in Aniocha South and the provision of branded wrappers for members of the forum.
The meeting further underscored the Chukwunwike administration’s commitment to strengthening engagement with women, promoting inclusive governance and creating opportunities that enhance their participation in the political and socio-economic development of Aniocha South Local Government.
