Hussey College Warri class of 92 Marks 30th Anniversary

Hussey college, Warri, Old students Association, HCWOSA, class of 92 set on Sunday December 18,2022 celebrated it’s 30th Reunion party Anniversary at Effurun near Warri, Delta State.

Mr Godwin Enibueta said the Reunion party is to promote friendship, bond as well as deepening mutual cooperation towards giving back to their Alma mater.

According to the chairman of Hussey college old students Association set of 92 ,Mr Godwin Enibueta
the get together is also part of effort to get in touch with ex students whom might have lost contact with their class mate for over 30 years.

Mr Enibueta said the reunion marks 30 years since they left the college and that the Annual Occasion is an effort to sustain what bind the alumni Association together as well as looking out for each others welfare.

 

The Chairman while pledging the commitment of the set to support the larger body of the Association in giving back to their Alma mater noted that since 2016 the set of 92 has build strong bond amongst members as well as embarking on various projects in the school which include renovation of the girls hostel, Donation of books, organized seminars bothering on different social issues including health and career talk .

 

Mr Enibueta an engineer also called on Delta state Government to facilitate involvement of the Alumni Association on facilities development and upgrade in order to bridge some gaps of needs in the college.

 

In separate interviews the chairman of the Reunion Planning Committee Comrade Karo Ojukoko and the secretary of the reunion planning committee comrade Okoh Onome noted that the Alumni Association is celebrating 30 years of friendship, togetherness and thanking God for his blessings on them .

They revealed that so far they have mobilise Old students of 92 set to give back to their Alma mater.

On her part Principal of Hussey college Warri, Mrs Justina Wategire appreciated the efforts of old students for their determination to support the school in areas of infrastructure, and a source of inspiration to students of the school, adding that their Gesture has gone a long way in raising the school standard high.

Mrs Wategire urged the 92 set and Hussey College Warri old students Association members worldwide to assist in renovating the school’s Dinning Hall.

 

Hussey College Warri old students Association class of 92 ,30th Anniversary featured raffle draws and presentation of awards to it’s members who have continued to support the growth of the body , as well as presentation of certificate of recognition and awards to deserving students in the school that are maintaining the standard it prides on since it’s inception.

Highlights of the reunion party was the cutting of the 30th anniversary cake and Inauguration of new executive led by Mr Godwin Enibueta .

The 30th reunion of the prestigious Hussey college Warri old students Association class of 92 was an occasion that brought back old memories and nostalgia on the part of the Old students.

Meanwhile the 1992 set of the Hussey college Warri old students Association were also at St Stephens Anglican church to Thank God for keeping the body together all through the years and for God’s protection and provision to them .

The Vicar of St Stephens Anglican Church Venerable Friday Ejemre prayed God to continue to keep them together mad bless them for giving back to their school .
