The spokesman of the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe,has confirmed the release of the kidnapped former Delta State commissioner for Technical Education, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi.
Onyemaechi who was also a former member of the House of Representatives, regained her freedom late Friday night.
Actual News gathered from Multiple sources that the former lawmaker has arrived the state capital.
It was learned that the abductors had earlier demanded one billion naira as ransom, but it was not clear if any money was paid before she was set free.
