The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has described children as priceless gifts from God whose lives must be nurtured with love, discipline, sound moral values and the fear of God.
Hon. Andaye stated this on Sunday while addressing guests at the reception held in honour of the 10th birthday thanksgiving of Master Clinton Okilo, son of Hon. Jack Okilo, in Warri, Delta State.
He said children should be raised in an environment that inspires excellence, integrity and deep reverence for God, describing the occasion as a celebration of God’s enduring faithfulness and the blessing of family.
Accompanied by his wife, Hon. Mrs. Rejoice Andaye, the Bomadi Council Boss attended the thanksgiving service at Charis Gospel Revelation Ministry, Change of Life, along Giwa Amu Road, Warri, before proceeding to the reception at the residence of Hon. Jack Okilo.
He expressed delight at being part of the celebration and commended the Okilo family for their commitment to raising their son with admirable moral and spiritual values.
The Council Chairman joined family members, friends and well-wishers to thank God for preserving Clinton and bringing him to the significant milestone of his tenth birthday.
The colourful occasion attracted political leaders, community stakeholders, associates and guests from across Delta State, creating an atmosphere of joy and fellowship.
Hon. Andaye congratulated Master Clinton on attaining the age of ten, describing it as an important chapter in his life.
The Bomadi Council Boss encouraged the celebrant to remain humble, respectful and diligent in his academic pursuits while remaining steadfast in faith, noting that values embraced in childhood would shape his future.
He further offered prayers for Clinton and the Okilo family, asking God to bless the celebrant with divine wisdom, good health, long life, academic excellence and uncommon favour. He also prayed for peace, prosperity and greater testimonies for the family.
The celebration ended with goodwill messages and expressions of gratitude as guests celebrated God’s blessings upon Master Clinton Okilo.
