The Management and Staff of Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, NUPRC on Monday bid farewell to the head,Health Safety and Environment Dr Udoma Micheals David as he meritoriously bows out from active services.
The commission organised a surprise party for Dr Udoma Michaels David amidst comments from colleagues, friends and well wishers.
Amongst top management staff were the Warri Regional Controller, Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, Chief Benjamin Ogunnubi,
the State coordinator Nigeria midstreams and downstream petroleum Regulatory authority, Delta State, Ambassador Owhodiasa Victor took advantage of the moment to Pay glowing tributes to Dr Udoma for his dedication and hardwork in the commission.
They took turns to describe him as a brilliant unassuming personality whose quintessential lifestyle resonate humility and simplicity noting he had always championed the course of mentoring young people he believes are future of the oil and gas industry.
The Warri Regional Controller, NUPRC chief Benjamin Ogunnubi in his words” Dr Udoma Michaels David is one man that thinks critically one leadership quality that has endeared so many to him and you retiring meritoriously is a pointer of your dedication to service.
” I can still remember some of the meetings you handled on behalf of the commission to broker peace between host commuties and oil companies. These periods really goes to show your Worth as an iconic leader” he stated .

would continue to support Dr Udoma at all times adding that they shall also consult him for advise .
“You will live in Good health and sound mind while you enjoy your retirement benefits” Ogunnubi stated .
Other staff including Mrs. Felicia
Akpojisheri prayed God to guide Dr Udoma in his future endeavors even as he continues in his mentoring of the young people in the society.
On his part Dr Udoma Micheals David appreciated management and staff of the commission in Warri office for the warm reception accorded him, noting he would Miss the working environment .
He added that by the grace of God his retirement would be a beginning to greater things to come.
Dr Udoma told staff of the commission to always be forthright and remained worthy ambassadors of the commission.
Until his retirement Dr Udoma Michaels David was the head of the commission Safety health and environment with notable achievements in various environmental safety programmes between Oil bearing communities and international Oil companies.
In the course of the event students on internship equally presented birthday cake to Dr Udoma whose birthday coincided with his retirement.
