The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori Francis, JP, on the celebration of his third year anniversary in office and the commencement of his fourth year in governance, describing the administration’s journey as one marked by historic progress, purposeful leadership and transformational governance.
In a goodwill message commemorating the milestone conveyed by the Chairman’s Spokesman, Oyem Jonathan, Chukwunwike stated that Governor Oborevwori’s administration has continued to distinguish itself through focused leadership driven by the visionary MORE Agenda, which he said reflects a practical and evidence based commitment to sustainable development and enduring service to the people of Delta State.
According to him, the Governor has demonstrated a deep rooted determination to leave behind legacies that will remain permanently etched in the hearts of Deltans through impactful governance and people centred policies.
The Chairman highlighted the remarkable infrastructural transformation witnessed across the state under the Oborevwori administration, noting that several previously neglected communities have now been reconnected and revitalized through the construction and rehabilitation of roads, bridges, schools and other critical infrastructure.
“These projects are not merely physical structures,” Chukwunwike noted. “They are enduring symbols of the Governor’s resolve to bring development closer to the people and ensure that no community is left behind in the collective advancement of Delta State.”

He further commended Governor Oborevwori’s unwavering commitment to human capital development, stressing that the administration has continued to empower citizens through skill acquisition programmes, business support grants for entrepreneurs, youth focused initiatives and inclusive governance policies aimed at promoting self sufficiency and economic participation.
Speaking on the political future of the state, Chukwunwike declared that the Governor’s achievements within the last three years have provided compelling evidence of responsive leadership anchored on competence, strategic vision and a team driven by the determination to rewrite Delta State’s developmental history.
“The journey towards 2027 has already been defined by performance,” he said. “Governor Oborevwori’s achievements speak eloquently of a government that understands the aspirations of the people and possesses both the courage and capacity to deliver.”
He questioned the rationale behind disrupting what he described as a productive and progressive trajectory.
“Why change a winning team? Why interrupt a journey already yielding visible fruits across the state?” he asked.
The Chairman maintained that the growing support for the Governor ahead of 2027 is a reflection of public confidence in his leadership and developmental philosophy, emphasizing that Deltans have chosen to move forward with greater speed under the stewardship of Governor Oborevwori.
Chukwunwike therefore urged the people of Delta State not only to celebrate the Governor’s third year anniversary in office, but also to remain committed to protecting and sustaining the gains already recorded by the administration.
He called for a seamless symphony of continuity in 2027 through overwhelming support and votes for Governor Oborevwori, whom he described as a leader driven by clarity of vision, strength of purpose and a shared aspiration for a greater Delta State.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Aniocha South Local Government Area, we wish Your Excellency continued wisdom, strength and greater accomplishments as you advance another year of impactful governance anchored on the enduring pillars of the MORE Agenda,” Chukwunwike stated.
