BOMADI — The immediate past Delta State Commissioner for Special Projects, Hon. Chief Funyei Manager has officially declared his intention to contest for the Bomadi State Constituency seat in the Delta State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The declaration took place during a consultative visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bomadi Local Government and Ward Executives in Bomadi.

The leadership, supervised by the APC Local Government Chairman, Hon. Perekeme Seleyeibo, unanimously endorsed Manager as their preferred candidate.
The Party leaders, stakeholders, and constituents across the area broadly backed the aspiration of Hon. Chief Funyei Manager.
Speaking during the endorsement, Hon. Chief Funyei Manager highlighted infrastructural and aesthetic achievements recorded along the Warri axis during his time as Commissioner as evidence of his dedication to service delivery.

Manager urged constituents to remain united, promising to deliver purposeful, effective, and community-focused representation if elected in 2027.
Following the executive meeting, Manager visited the private residence of Engr. Frances Muturu in Bomadi.
Muturu formally adopted the ambition and pledged full mobilization support across all wards.
The Director General of the Funyei Manager Campaign Organisation, Chief Dr. Barry Gbe, stated that the campaign team will immediately step up grassroots mobilization, noting that momentum is building rapidly.
