A foremost political group in Delta State, Sheriff Political Emancipation Movement ( SPEM ) has hailed the Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council , Chief Hon Vincent Oyibode for his rapid positive transformation of Udu Local Government Area.
This was contained in the speech of the state coordinator of SPEM Comrade Dakpor Daniel Damijo during the group’ s courtesy visit to the Udu Local Government Council boss at Otor – Udu the administrative headquarters of Udu Local Government Area on Tuesday 11th August, 2026.
The Aladja born political icon attested that Udu residents have never had it so good, saying that in just two years in office, Chief Hon Vincent Oyibode has made tremendous achievements both in human and infrastructural developments.
He then pledged the group’s support for Chief Vincent Oyibode, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Damijo stressed that SPEM is prepared to work for the Udu Local Government Council boss in whatever capacity he wants the group to work .
Damijo had earlier disclosed that membership of SPEM cuts across Delta State and that the headquarters of the group is in Udu Local Government Area.
In his response, an elated Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council , Chief Hon Vincent Oyibode gladly asserted that his administration has achieved much so far ” because we are keying into the MORE Agenda of His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori”
Oyibode who also gladly disclosed that Governor Oborevwori has awarded the rehabilitation of Udu Road to Niger Cat Construction Company, listed his achievements to include: restoration of peace, establishment of adult education centers, building of Udu Local Government Council Chairman ‘ s residential Quarters , building of police residential Quarters and offices, building of a befitting chapel, installation of solar powered system in council premises among others.
He further proudly stated that the achievements of administration so far are enough to win the maximum votes of Udu residents for Governor Oborevwori, President Tinubu and the APC in 2027 general elections.
While pledging to carry SPEM in APC electioneering campaign team in Udu Local Government Area, he advised the people of Udu against the politics of opposition.
