Head Coach of Bomadi LGA Football Team, Okiki Musampa, has commended the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, for his “unprecedented support” that helped the team win the Delta South qualifiers of the ongoing Sheriff Oborevwori Jnr Unification Cup 2026.
Musampa said the chairman’s firm solidarity towards the team’s welfare throughout the qualifiers was largely responsible for their sterling performance that saw them emerge tops on the Delta South qualifying table.
In an appreciation message released after the competition, the coach said: “As we conclude our participation in the Sheriff Jnr. Oborevwori Unification Cup 2026, I wish to sincerely appreciate the Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council for his tremendous support throughout the competition.”
“From the beginning of the South Senatorial Zonal Qualifiers, where Bomadi LGA emerged champions, to our participation in the Unification Cup, the Chairman stood firmly behind the team. He ensured that the players’ welfare, technical crew support, accommodation, transportation, feeding, and other logistics were adequately provided.”
Musampa noted that Andaye’s commitment and encouragement gave the players the confidence to compete with pride, discipline and determination. He added that though the tournament has ended, the experience, unity and achievements recorded will remain a source of pride for Bomadi LGA.
“On behalf of the players, technical crew, and supporters, I say a big thank you to the Chairman for his outstanding leadership and dedication to sports development in Bomadi. We remain grateful for the opportunity and support given to represent Bomadi on such a prestigious stage,” he concluded.
