Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for being honored with the “2025 Governor of the Year” award by Leadership and New Telegraph Newspapers.
He described the recognition as a testament to the Governor’s exceptional governance and impactful policies.
In a congratulatory message, Andaye emphasized that Governor Oborevwori’s diligent implementation of transformative programs has significantly enhanced the lives of citizens and spurred development across Delta State. He noted that the governor’s consistent receipt of multiple prestigious awards indicates his position as a leading performer among Nigeria’s governors.
Recalling previous accolades, including the This Day/Arise TV “Governor of the Year (2024)” and the Vanguard “Governor of the Year in Good Governance (2024),” Andaye affirmed that Oborevwori has become a reference point in effective governance. The awards from Leadership and New Telegraph highlight the administration’s focus on inclusive governance, strategic infrastructure development, and improved socio-economic conditions for Deltans.
Andaye assured that the legacy of Oborevwori’s leadership is evident throughout the three senatorial districts. He expressed confidence that come 2027, there will be “no vacancy” at both Dennis Osadebay House in Asaba and the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, as the people of Bomadi remain loyal supporters.
He stated: “On behalf of the government and peace-loving people of Bomadi, I celebrate my leader and mentor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on his well-deserved award. The people of Bomadi see their Governor breaking barriers in governance, and we will ensure he receives 100% of our votes in the next election.”
