The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, has called on councillors in the council area to sustain the existing cordial executive-legislative relationship, describing unity, mutual trust and cooperation as the bedrock of meaningful grassroots development.
The Chairman made the appeal at his residence in Ubulu Uku when members of the Aniocha South Forum of Councillors paid him a courtesy visit to celebrate him on the occasion of his birthday.
Expressing profound appreciation for the show of love, solidarity and goodwill, Hon. Chukwunwike thanked the councillors for identifying with him on his special day, noting that their presence reflected the spirit of togetherness that has continued to define governance in Aniocha South.
“Let us continue to be one family,” the Chairman urged, emphasizing that sustainable development can only thrive where there is unity of purpose, collective responsibility and unwavering commitment to the common good.

He commended the legislators for their maturity, cooperation and legislative support which, according to him, have contributed immensely to the successes recorded by his administration.
Hon. Chukwunwike appealed to the councillors to remain steadfast in upholding the harmonious executive-legislative partnership that has become a hallmark of his administration, assuring them of his readiness to continue working with every stakeholder for the advancement of the local government.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more democratic dividends to the people, stressing that his administration remains resolute in consolidating on its achievements through purposeful leadership and people-centred governance.
The Council Chairman further called on the councillors to continue supporting his administration’s vision of fostering unity, sustaining the momentum of development and consolidating on the gains already recorded in line with the aspirations and electoral promises made to the people of Aniocha South.
According to him, the confidence reposed in his administration by the electorate remains a sacred trust that must continually be justified through impactful projects, responsive governance and policies that improve the welfare of the people.
The visit was marked by warm fellowship, heartfelt prayers and goodwill messages as the councillors celebrated the Chairman’s exemplary leadership, humility, accessibility and unwavering dedication to the progress and transformation of Aniocha South Local Government Area.
