The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Council, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike , Tuesday led an array of dignitaries and community leaders to the inauguration of a borehole water project facilitated by the Councillor representing Ubulu-Uno Ward 6, Hon. Cecilia Chukwudumebi Okpunor, in Ubulu-Uno Community.

Representing the Chairman at the event was the Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Patricia Adolue, who was accompanied by the Leader of Aniocha South Legislative Arm, Hon. Leonard Nzemeke, the Council Scribe, Hon. Prince Tony K. Ebube, and other council officials.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Obi of Ubulu-Uno Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Obi Henry Afamefunne Kikachukwu JP, High Chief Chris Agbobu, Hon. Paul Adingupu, Sir Peter Okwe, and the President General of Ubulu-Uno Community, Prof. Jiff Nwaokobia. Also present were revered chiefs of the community, councillors, supervisory councillors, political appointees, and other stakeholders.

The borehole project, facilitated by Hon. Cecilia Chukwudumebi Okpunor, is aimed at improving access to clean and potable water for residents of the community, thereby enhancing public health and overall well-being.
Speaking at the event, community leaders and stakeholders commended the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that addresses a critical need of the people.
They also lauded the commitment of the Aniocha South Local Government administration and the councillor’s dedication to grassroots development.
