Residents of Oleh Street in Okumagba Layout Warri, have been thrown into mourning following the gruesome murder of a twenty-five year old man by his room mate.
ACTUAL News gathered that the deceased popularly known as Gaga and his killer Godstime were roommates .
The late Gaga was reportedly killed by his room mate Godstime over an argument of N300 electricity bill.
It was alleged that the deceased was in charge of collecting the bill but his roommate collected money from a neighbour without the knowledge of the deceased.
A fight ensued between the two, when the deceased accosted his friend and asked him to refund the money he collected and stabbed the deceased on his throat with a broken bottle.
Godstime had reportedly fled to the Ugborikoko area, neighbouring Warri but was caught and handed over to the Nigerian Police Force ‘B’ Division on Thursday.
Efforts were still being made to apprehend Tega, the alleged accomplice at the time of filing this report.
The spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident when contacted .
