By Ambrose Ologide
The Treasurer of Urhobo Progress Union ( UPU ) Worldwide Olorogun Eunice Daji Okoh (JP) has asserted that the new Ohworode ( tradititioal ruler ) of Olomu kingdom , HRM Macaulay Ovbagbedia Uhurie , Sadjere 11and new Otota ( tradititioal mouth piece ) of Olomu kingdom, High Chief Albert Akpomudje ( SAN ) will further unite and usher in progress to Olomu kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area.

The frontline politician made the assertion in a media chat with newsmen shortly after the installation of the new Ohworode of Olomu kingdom at the weekend .

The former Vice Chairman of Ughelli South Local Government Area explained that her assertion was based on the positive pedigree of the traditional ruler as a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Otota as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria ( SAN ) .

She reasoned that the combination of the duo would boost peace , unity and progress in the ancient Urhobo Kingdom of Olomu.

Okoh further noted that the new monarch and new Otota were great patriotic leaders of Urhobo Nation before their elevation to the exalted positions .

Okoh who bears the title of Ekokodolor of Olomu Kingdom urged the people of Olomu Kingdom to extend the support they had for the departed monarch of the kingdom , Ogoni 1 ( of blessed memory ) to new Ohworode and new Otota to enable them to take Olomu Kingdom to greater heights.
