Rotary Club Of Effurun City Center has officially installed it’s 2nd President .
He is Rotarian Famous Agbonifo .
The installation of Rotarian Agbonifo which was held on Friday at Wellington Hotel Effurun attracted Rotarians and Friends of Rotary club including the District Governor of Rotary International District 9141, Rotarian MightyMan Dikuro and the families of Agbonifo.
Speaking during the installation ceremony the First President of the club Rotarian Patrick Ighomrore disclosed that the club had embarked on several projects that improved the lives of those in it’s Mandate areas.
He urged members of the club to support the 2nd President of the club Rtn Famous Agbonifo saying that he would lead the club to an enviable height .
The new President of Rotary club of Effurun City Center, Rtn Famous Agbonifo while Speaking shortly after he was installed as the 2nd President of the club thanked members of the club for electing him and pledged not to disappoint them.
Rotarian Agbonifo said the club has placed humanity as it’s priority and urged other Rotarians and friends of Rotary club to join the club in achieving it’s target during his tenure .
He said Rotary Club Of Effurun City Center was charted last year and has continued to carryout it’s mandate of charity just like other Rotary clubs .
The 2nd President of Rotary club of Effurun City Center added that the club needs to construct and renovate classrooms and 6 units Toilet at Isherhe primary school Agbarho, Ughelli North local Government Area as well as provide Delivery Kits for expectant mother’s .
The District Governor of Rotary Club International, District 9141 Rtn MightyMan Dikoru inducted Seven New members into the club and charged them to aligned with the motor of Rotary club which is service above self .
Rtn Dikuro welcomed the inductees to the club where efforts of few can change the reality of so many and make the world a better place .
The installation ceremony of Rtn Famous featured a brief lecture by Assistant Governor Gabriel Egba who spoke on what Rotary stand for and the benefits of being a Rotarian urged the guests to join Rotarians to make the world a comfortable place to live.
The installation ceremony also featured Awards presentation to some distinguished personalities including Rtn Chris Ojeke,Rtn Mfor Otite-Douglas, chief lucky Agbonifo, Rtn Lawrence Nwafiogbu amongst others .
